Rebecca Juel (Bec)

BSpPath, MSPA CSPA

Bec is a certified practicing speech pathologist who graduated from the University of Queensland in 2014.

She has experience working in the community in early intervention and the school aged child with a focus on language development, language delays and disorders, speech and literacy.

Bec has worked in special schools in QLD and VIC introducing and implementing augmentative alternative communication (AAC) and working with teachers and families to support their children with communication and literacy.

She has also worked overseas with bilingual children with language and learning disorders.

Bec has most recently been working with children and adults with disability in a clinical/community setting, with a focus on AAC. Bec also has experience in adult dysphagia and dysarthria.

She is passionate about communication throughout the lifespan.

Bec is the mother of two young bilingual boys who keep her very busy.
